Step Back in Time at Our Medieval St Fayre!

Ludgershall Town Council are raising the banners this July, filling the streets with fun and

laughter, as the spirit of the Middle Ages returns for our much-anticipated Medieval St Fayre!

For one unforgettable day, our town will be transformed into a scene from centuries past – filled with colour, music, mischief and medieval merriment…

🎭 Whispers tell of wandering mummers bringing lively tales to life…
🎶 The sound of minstrels drifting through the air…
🤹 A certain sharp-tongued jester stirring up delightful chaos…

But that’s only the beginning…

Ludgershall Town Council are thrilled to be working in collaboration with St James Church and English Heritage to make this year’s summer event bigger and more immersive than ever.

At St James Church, visitors can enjoy a mouth-watering hog roast along with a range of activities taking place throughout the day – the perfect place to gather, feast and soak up the atmosphere.

Meanwhile, over at the castle, English Heritage will be bringing history vividly to life with plenty happening within the castle grounds. Expect sights, sounds and experiences that truly transport you back in time…

Around every corner there will be something to discover! Whether you come in full medieval costume or simply ready to enjoy the day, there will be something for all ages.
